Frank Baistrocchi

Vice-Chair of the National Board of Directors

Frank is a passionate aviation enthusiast who has served in the aerospace industry for over 40 years. His career began with de Havilland Aircraft on the production of the Buffalo and Dash 7 aircraft. He had a notable role in the development of the Dash 8 and the PW120 engine. Various roles of advancement followed in marketing, sales and customer support.

Subsequent to Bombardier’s acquisition of Boeing Canada/de Havilland, Frank helped shape the Bombardier Regional Aircraft Department and formed the first Customer Support In-Service Engineering team. A major accomplishment was getting the Canadair Regional Jet to worldclass reliability levels resulting in several successive Professional Pilot awards for ‘Best Support’.

His leadership and achievements in new and used aircraft sales led to assignments in Asia culminating as Vice President Sales, South East Asia and Australasia. He retired from Bombardier in 2016 and currently provides marketing and business development for aircraft aftermarket companies. Frank resides in Hudson, Quebec.
