Canada's Aviation Hall of Fame Inductees

Each year Canada's Aviation Hall of Fame solicits nominations from the general public of individuals and Belt of Orion candidates for induction into the Hall of Fame. The Nominations Review Committee looks for demonstrated outstanding abilities in overcoming challenge, management ability, special talents, peer recognition, responsibility and accomplishments which contribute a lasting benefit to Canada.

CAHF Inducted Members

As a contribution to Canada’s heritage, to document, preserve and publicize the names and deeds of these persons whose contributions to the advancement of Canadian aviation or aerospace have been of superior benefit to Canada.

The Belt of Orion Award for Excellence

The Belt of Orion Award for Excellence was founded by Canada's Aviation Hall of Fame to honour organizations, groups, societies or associations who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of aviation in Canada.

Canadian Aviation Distinction Award

Awarded to individuals, groups, or organizations for "extraordinary, often hidden, contributions that have significantly strengthened Canada's aviation/ aerospace sector.  It recognizes exceptional, often life-saving, airmanship, major technological projects, or sustained, impactful service to the industry.
