Nominations for the Canadian Aviation Distinction Award
About the CADA
Canada's Aviation Distinction Award recognizes an individual or organization whose work has made a meaningful and lasting contribution to aviation or aerospace in Canada. This award honours excellence that may not always be widely visible, but whose impact has strengthened the industry, advanced safety, innovation, education, service, or community engagement.
This nomination form invites members of the aviation community and the public to put forward candidates whose dedication, leadership, or sustained commitment deserves national recognition. Nominees may come from any sector of Canadian aviation or aerospace, including industry, government, education, research, operations, or volunteer service.
Submissions are carefully reviewed by the Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame Awards and Selection process. All nominations should clearly describe the nominee’s contributions, their significance, and the long-term impact of their work.
By submitting a nomination, you are helping ensure that important contributions to Canadian aviation are recognized, preserved, and shared with future generations.
The Purpose: To recognize extraordinary events or actions resulting in the saving of life of others or carried out with that intent and/or the execution of a significant technological aeronautical or space project with specific reference to Canada or Canadian interests.
